So EVERYONE (except UCONN) in our league needs to schedule up not just the bottom and the bottom must improve. On a good side it looks like most of our bottom teams are improving in coaches and recruiting

Texas, Stanford, Duke, Florida and West Virginia are UCONN's non-RPI killing non-con. Although WVU was in the Puerto Rican tourney.

Cincy fans take note

What is with your obsession with UC?

Playing ECU did hurt UC's RPI. And what's worse is that UC has to play that game again.

So you have to whine about it in every basketball thread, when we don't even have the worst in the conference?

Your program is a dumpster fire. Again. If that makes you sensitive, find a new team to root for.

Fact is, a few teams at the bottom of this conference drag down the teams that are trying to do what they are supposed to.

I have yet to see either of you give those other bottom team any crap. Hmm, baseball will be fun when it's the other way around.

Baseball. Oh, that'll show us.

Gonzaga has learned that lesson a long time ago and it has paid off. Their conference has had bottom feeders for years, yet they schedule top teams to compensate for such a disparity.

Considering that Houston and USF are in the middle of complete overhalls, while UCF is coming of sanctions (and has a good recruiting class coming in), I'm not too worried about the bottom half of this conference.

All of the TU's have performed better than expected. Many were dogging Temple, and they had the AAC's most impressive OOC win this year. Tulsa is undefeated in conference this year.

The only "bad MEAC" team that concerns me is ECU.

If you check the records, Morehead State has been to about 6 times as many NCAA tournaments as USF.

Winning a crappy league doesn't make them good and if some of your fans are going to complain about the 200+ RPIs of fellow teams then need to face the facts of playing teams with 200+ RPIs in nonconference which you can control

Have you watched the ESPN networks on Sundays this time of year?

FYI: UCONN WBB has been on ESPN/ESPN2 6 times so far this season with 4 more appearances to come. I'll bet that's more ESPN/EPSN2 appearances than most AAC MBB programs.

UCONN is the exception, but no I have not. Besides UCONN , no one watches. Just look at the stands. I stand by my statement, WBB has no bearing on conferences moves.

I would love it if UC had a better baseball team, hell, most of the olympic programs need work, and the current AD is addressing that. Having said that, the obly two sports that matter are football and basketball, and the ECU basketball program is a dumpster, and has been for years. Sorry, thats reality.,dc

Pastner raving about Conroy in his PC. Maybe so, but recruiting is part of it and until we get some size with athleticism down low, it's going to be mid-pack frustration.
Congrats Memphis - Nichols is a heck of a player. Faked our guy out of his shoes and had a clear 15 footer.

Im glad Memphis won.

Nothing against Tulane but Memphis shouldnt get swept by Tulane. While it wouldve been great for Tulane it wouldve been catastrophic for Memphis and might have knocked them out of NIT consideration. The league needs Memphis to win 20 games.

I am not looking forward to going to NOLA this week. Big road test for Tulsa.

Congrats on splitting the season series with Memphis Tulane. Great accomplishment.

Yes, thank goodness for Austin Nichols at the end of the game. He's a hard worker that doesn't take time off on the floor. He is our most consistent player in my opinion and not running the last play to or through him would have been fatal in my opinion.

Good game and good luck the balance of the season DrBox.

Yea and Memphis shouldn't get blown out by Tulsa either.
Could you be more condescending? Good lord.
We've been in a league with Memphis for the better part of 40 years, and we've played some absolute wars with the Tigers in the 80s and 90s. We've been terrible for the last 15 years, but it looks like we're on our way back after a long, long dry spell.

Markel is slowly working himself as the starting 2 guard. I like his hustle and production.
