We are getting absolutely embarressed now... turning it off... 5-0 SCSU end of 2nd. WE look like $hit.

SCSU has good shooting, with accuracy, quickness, and patience (if needed). I'd rather not see LaPorte telling the announcer our 3rd period game plan, but it's not showing our hand much anyway so it's a non-issue. I'd like to see us get the next goal, and quick.

To quote some of PJ Flecks coaching thoughts... WMU is letting circumstance dictate their behavior... Shots not getting through to goalies... so they are taking bad angles and jumping lanes they shouldnt... Getting beat in space so they are taking penalties... Its pathetic out there right now... SCSU scored 3 times on 7 shots in the second period... and its not on the goalie... WMU is playing terrible in front of both nets... constantly chasing SCSU around... They look tired.

I will say this... smaller sheet of ice... this game is maybe 1-0 SCSU... They are really using the extra space to their advantage... They are FAST... but small... and on a smaller sheet I dont think they have the space to do what they have been doing tonight... Puck is bouncing ... and SCSU is taking advantage of the bounces that are going their way... WMU is not.

Well, conference Champs or bust for the tourney after that. Ouch. That might be the worst game of AM's tenure at WMU.

Nah we can still get on at large if we play well vs the top teams. We didn't even really drop in the pairwise after last night (tied for 21st). Still lots of room to move up if we go on another run

Yeowch. I was hoping the CHN app was acting up on my phone again and 7-0 wasn't accurate.

My loss, because I didn't start a thread. I was 1-0-1 since the first of the year

turn overs absoulty killed us. They transition quickly and capitalized on many of those.

We had plenty of scoring chances, but just didn't finish. Lingren also stole a couple from us, he was solid

We were also out worked at times

All in all, a very un-characteristic game for the Bronco's. Glad they got this one out of their system and I'm sure they learned some things from it.

Ugly loss last night, but we weren't going to run the table against NCHC opponents. Last night's showing does add a sense of urgency to win tonight and get out of town with a split. We should be fine if we bounce back with a strong showing (and a victory) tonight.

Sometimes you need to just forget about it, refocus, and move on. I have a feeling this is one of those games.
