Playoff vs Cartel (if we are the chosen one)
Birmingham Bowl, Birmingham, Ala. – vs. SEC
Bitcoin Bowl St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Fla. – vs. Conference USA
Miami Beach Bowl, Miami, Fla. – vs. Conference USA
Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md. – vs. ACC
Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, Honolulu, Hawaii – vs. Mountain West
Boca Raton Bowl, Boca Raton, Fla. – vs. MAC
Cure Bowl, Orlando, Fla. - vs. SBC

I hate next years bowl line up for the AAC....Hawaii will be cool for the players and I have fond memories of the high scoring win vs Boise in 2007, but dang....

Too many bowls, bad bowls. No such thing.

Might as well complain about getting laid too often

That's a problem as well.....

Aresco should try for a good date, a good payout, and a good opponent for the cure bowl as our champions bowl if they don't make the access. Ditch the MBB, and find another spot in a Texas based bowl instead.

Doesn't the league already have 7 bowl tie ins for next year. Can't imagine we would need anymore to be honest especially with the access bowl in play as well. Could make it 8 spots from our 12 team pool. Thinking a lot would go unfilled.

If we have 8 spots I could see no more than 2 going unfilled next year. None of the AAC teams being left out.

AAC has 7 bowls for 12 teams.

2015 Season
Birmingham Bowl, Birmingham, Ala. – vs. SEC
Bitcoin Bowl St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Fla. – vs. Conference USA
Miami Beach Bowl, Miami, Fla. – vs. Conference USA
Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md. – vs. ACC
Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, Honolulu, Hawaii – vs. Mountain West
Boca Raton Bowl, Boca Raton, Fla. – vs. MAC
Cure Bowl, Orlando, Fla. - vs. SBC

That's a disgusting line up. As long as Memphis is bowl eligible, I see us going to B-ham

The Miami Beach Bowl has too much potential to waste it with a Conference USA tie in..

Disagree, I see no potential with it. I'd rather get the best possible bowl available in Texas, or get the independence bowl for champ vs best available P5 (except PAC, they don't travel) if liberty is never going to an option again....

Go to the Miami Beach Bowl and then see if your opinion doesn't change. It was fantastic. Players were treated like royalty. Got VIP treatment all week. Beautiful weather. Great venue. Tons of potential.

That lineup is brutal.

After not having a tenant all year in that crumbling stadium in Birmingham, they will be handing out team branded hardhats at the gates.

RE: Even more diluted bowls?
other things to note...this year was an unrealistically high amount of bowl teams ...literally if any other p5 made a bowl they would have had to stay home..big 10 actually thought that would happen

we only had 5 bowls last years ...but have 7 next year, 8 starting 2016... we also have 2 Bowl backup slots..aswell as a shot at the access every year
we only had 4 bowl teams in the 2013 season ...and c-usa with our teams (pre-2013) never had more than 6 at 12 members, alot of the times only 5

IMO a P5 bowl ..or im fine... lets worry about getting a better tv slot for the miami bowl... literally in 2016 on their is a possibility we could have 11 bowl slots as is (backups/access)

and on a miracle year and we have lets say 9 bowl teams out of 12 eligible for that to be a realistic possibility ..we will have had to have knocked out some P5 and id bet we get an atlarge or backup from their spots likely vs P5..
i can live without the bowl versus south alabama, akron, or whatever barely bowl eligible c-usa team in front of 100 fans ...
