Bravo-Harriot
Is 9-12 from three in her last three games. I'm liking this freshman class more and more.

And I thought Dorr and Boyd would be the two most likely freshmen contributors this season--they aren't even playing!

Agree----Rasmussen started out strong before hitting a slump that hopefully she broke out of in the OT win against Buffalo. I thought early in the season she might contend for a spot on the All MAC freshman team, but now it looks as if Bravo-Harriot (off the bench) is the leading contender for those honors. Although Kessler has seen limited floor time compared to those two she has also shown some potential---I hope she adds a bit of muscle to go with the height, but she does seem to have good basketball skills.

With Boyd and Dorr out for the season with injuries, they are still unproven quantities but as pointed about above they probably received as much or more pre-season hype than the other recruits, however, the class has already proved to be a good one even without factoring them in. What is notable to me is that the ones who remained healthy are ALL (including Woody, as of late) are seeing meaningful floor action (not at just garbage time after the outcome is determined) and gaining experience with Rasmussen and Bravo-Harriot playing major roles in the rotation.

After the fallout from the 2012 recruiting class bust, Coach Cullop and the team really, really needed a lot of help from this year's class and it looks as if they are getting it.

RE: Bravo-Harriot
Jay-Ann is shooting 52% from three in six MAC contests, and almost 55% from the floor overall.

UT as a team is leading the MAC in 3FG% for conference games at 38.5%. In addition to Bravo-Harriott, Harris is shooting 46% and Inma 41%. Pretty abrupt turnaround from some of the poor shooting early in the season.

The Human-Hyphen is learning where to get her shots and Inma is getting her the ball there. That's just experience and time on the floor together.
