Shaq Harrison making a real case for POY honors early in the conference slate
He had 18 pts / 10 rbds / 6 ast / 4 stl / 0 TO in the Memphis win
On the season, he's in the top 5 of almost ever statistical category (if not the top 3) and what's surprising is he's right up there with the forwards in defensive efficiency, PER and defensive win shares.
He really should get the most improved player award as well.
1/3 of the way through the season, my first team all AAC looks like
G Nic Moore SMU
G Shaq Harrison (POY) (MIP) (Defensive POY) Tulsa
G James Woodard Tulsa
F Austin Nichols Memphis
F Amidah Brimah UCONN

POY might be a reach.
I am an old man, cannot believe all these kids named after Shaquille O'Neal.

Huh, looks like the Assist-TO ratio stats on the AAC site are weird. We show Rashad Ray at a whopping 6.3 and Shaq at 1.3 through yesterday, so that's actually improved. (Conf only)

I don't think so. Look at his stats.
He is 3rd in ppg (.2 behind a slumping boatwright and .1 behind his teammate woodard)
Leads the league in steals per game, #2 in FG%, #9 in apg, he's not even top 10 in minutes played, has the #3 PER at 25.5, he doesn't turn the ball over, he leads the league in points created. He is one of only two players (along with cincy's Caupin) who are top 10 in offensive and defensive rating, and he's the only player in the top 10 in offensive and defensive win shares. (He is a league leader in total win shares)
The only person that's even close is Nic Moore and he isnt a great defender and turns the ball over at a much higher rate.

Ask SJ. Also ask him what Anthony Lee's is.

Don't know if that's sarcasm or you didn't see it when I mentioned it above...
PER:
Harrison - 25.5
Moore - 20.5

Ya but you should see his (PPG^3 / (RPG X 40 MIN ^ (1/2))) ^ n+1
It's phenomenal!

Good point, but it's not as quite as good as this eight man from this Missouri valley team
