At 7'6", Tacko is going to be a decent shot blocking and rebounding threat. He barely leaves the floor when he dunks the ball. He doesn't have to be an NBA lottery candidate. Just because of his size alone, he's going to be a difference-maker in quite a few matchups.

When someone misses a shot, and the ball bounces off the rim or backboard, players sometimes will jump up and try to grab the ball (this is called REBOUNDING). IN ORDER TO GRAB MORE REBOUNDS THAN THE OTHER TEAM, SOMETIMES IT HELPS IF YOU HAVE A PLAYER WHO IS TALLER THAN THE OTHER PLAYERS AND CAN REACH OVER THEM! I know this is an astounding revelation to some of you here, but IT'S TRUE! I may add some visual aids to this post because I realize this is a really difficult concept to understand.
If you really think all you need to rebound is to be the tallest guy on the floor, then you should really stop making any comments about basketball on this board because you no nothing about the sport.

I'm pretty sure you're taking that out of context. You don't just need to be the tallest guy on the floor to rebound, obviously, but it helps. And I think you knew what he was getting at

Instead of trolling...why not READ what was actually written.
Notice how he says SOMETIMES height and long reach can (and DOES) help with rebounding game? (Especially for a team that has had to play with a 4 guard line-up at times this year our of necessity).
