White farmers in Zimbabwe have been given 90 days to either leave the country, agree with the ruling dictatorship, or face punishments - presumably execution. Robert Mugabe, one of the world's most infamous dictators in the previously white-run Zimbabwe, vowed last year that whites would not be allowed to ever again own land in his nation.

I'd love to hear what failures of a defense there are for this crazed and racist tyrant.

There isn't a defense of his policies. He's a monster. The opposition is little better. Mugabe has supporters, but they aren't on the left

Mugabe has taken what was once a prosperous country and turned it into a complete sh!thole. At one time, the country was a big exporter of food, now the country can't feed their own. If given enough time, the whole country will be back to living in mud huts. In the top 5 of the most corrupt leaders of any country in the world.

extreme homophobia isn't the purview of the left. We've been after Mugabe for decades. Mugabe has few links with anyone in the states but has been working with the Orthodox Anglicans.

It is roughly the same distance from Zimbabwe to the Arabian Peninsula as it is from New York to Los Angeles. That is ignoring the failed and Islamic states of Northern Africa.

Africa is so much better off without European colonial rule.

Zimbabwe and the Islamic world have nothing to do with one another. Zimbabwe's potential collapse won't mean anything in regards to terrorists or anything of the sort.

You are talking two totally different worlds.

Results will be more Zaire in flavour than Syria.

Mugabe isn't going anywhere though and Zimbabwe is safe bar something catastrophic. As the senior African nationalist dictator he holds a lot of sway on the continent. Countries from Equatorial Guinea to Mozambique support his government in one form or another. In fact, Obiang and Mugabe are close personal friends in spite of the fact Obiang supports zero of his policies.

It may come as a surprise to you, but there are other issues in the world besides gay rights. And on all the rest, he's solidly hard left.

As much as I've detested the regime, it is my opinion that it never would've happened if Europeans descendants didn't make haste in oppressing the natives.
