Tough loss to Mich. by 2, OSU by 1, then Maryland by 1 tonight and CMU by 13 on Dec. 17.

Sorry MaddDawgz02, but the folks in the West Coast Conference, the Colonial, the Sun Belt, the Southern, the MEAC and even the other MAAC, will tell you it's a meat grinder to get through their league. The Mid-American is not that exceptionally strong this season. Whether you believe use any Top 25 poll, RPI, SOS, etc., the MAC is and should still be a one-bid conference.

MD isn't going to give in on this. Just ignore the bad argument.

Trust me, I will agree with anyone the MAC has had some significantly bad years and has been a laughing stock at times. On the other side of that coin, it is not fair to disregard when the MAC has up years, and this year has certainly been one of the years. I admit the MAC does not have a top 25 caliber team, but its the depth which is highly impressive this year. Of the conferences you listed here are the current RPIs, and yes the West Coast conference is better

9. West Coast
11. Mid American
19. Colonial
20. Metro Atlantic Athletic (MAAC)
21. Sun Belt
32. Mid-Eastern Athlietic (MEAC)

So of the conferences you listed, the West Coast and MAC are close, but a decided edge to the West Coast. But the other 4 are a major step down from the MAC this year. In fact the MEAC is 2nd from the bottom of all 33 conferences. The numbers say that and being objective is important, whether its favorable or unfavorable for the conference.

A deafening Convo with 1700 fans, amazing what a half filled building would sound like.

I hope I live long enough to see and hear it, but I'm not so sure - unless, of course, I attend the DeKalb-Sycamore high school game.
