SK Traded to Sixers D-League
Hopefully he can get a shot at the NBA now.

From Tom Groeschen

Former University of Cincinnati basketball star Sean Kilpatrick has been traded from the Golden State Warriors' D-League team to the Philadelphia 76ers' D-League team, Kilpatrick confirmed to The Enquirer via text Tuesday.

Kilpatrick averaged 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22 games for the Warriors' Santa Cruz team. He now heads to the 76ers' D-League club, the Delaware 87ers. Kilpatrick also played summer ball for the 76ers in 2014.

Kilpatrick, a 6-foot-4 guard, was a first team All-American last season and led the American Athletic Conference with 20.6 points per game. Kilpatrick had 2,145 career points to finish No. 2 to Oscar Robertson (2,973) on the UC career list. Kilpatrick was not taken in the NBA Draft last June, but he played in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas for the 76ers and averaged 11.5 points.

Kilpatrick, who had knee surgery Aug. 20, signed with the Warriors organization in October and was assigned to the Santa Cruz team.

SK is gonna have a much better of getting at least a taste of the NBA with the 76ers than he was with the Warriors, who are absolutely killing it this year.

It was SK and a first round D-League draft pick for Ronald Roberts, Jr. and the rights to Darington Hobson.

The Philadelphia news site "Philly.com" doesn't even have a mention of the trade.

Hope he plays his way into a ton of playing time. He'll get a figurative home game as the 87ers play the West Chester Knicks on 2/6
