The real money flush is your men's hoops team...haha why bother?

We will be good soon. Flushing money is paying a coach 2.5M+ to lose to 6-6 VT.

The butt hurt is strong with this one.

What did Tech High pay Coach Cool to go 4-8 again?

Its low hanging fruit picking on you guys. Like making fun of the happy idiot standing on the corner smiling and waiving at cars. You feel bad because you know better. But we only do it when you come here to show your ass. Which is frequently, sadly.

Congrats Cincinnati. That's a great $ amount.

UCONN got a 10 year deal with Nike back in 2008 for $4.55 Mil per year.

I care little of happens to Cincy and/or your crusade towards the Big 12. A topic was made and I shared my thoughts nothing more, nothing less. Now you may continue to your tirade.

U of Cincinnati leaving adidas, signing deal with Under Armour. Will go from getting $1.5M/year in cash & product up to as much as $5M/year.

USF's current deal with Under Armour will max out in 2018 with $725,000 in cash with $1.15 Million in product plus $150,000 for advertising.

RE: Cincy switching from Adidas to Under Armour
It's a big amount and I happen to like UA gear, but I would also point out that Addidas treated us well. Without going down the rabbit hole of sneakers and recruiting, it was nice that they always lumped us in their top tier of teams. Most fans didn't like a lot of the special jerseys for postseasons, but the fact is the group of teams who were chosen for that was Louisville, UCLA, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Baylor, and Kansas. Addidas prioritized us so I have no problem with them.

Oh well, on to UA. Hopefully we will get similar treatment.

Wasn't Tubberville's Auburn team the first for UA?

I'm not sure how much our contract is worth but on the other items you mention it has been an improvement

Its about $2 million a year... like all UA deals, the majority of what you get isnt cash but instead product. I guarantee that Cinci will get more cash then we do, but about half of the deal will be product credits.
Either way, its a solid deal and shows where Cinci ranks in the AAC. Uconn and Cinci both have the largest deals and it really isnt close...

USFs deal is fairly new but I wouldnt doubt that if we start to improve again that we will get a renegotiated deal.

Temple is in a bidding war mostly between Adidas and (re-upping) with UA. Nike apparently doesn't negotiate. Lately buzz is we're re-upping with UA. I think most Temple fans find the high end jackets and hoodie kinda stuff good, but the general tshirts and shorts to be lacking compared to Nike.

Good grab Cincy!

I've long been a advocate for UH to make that switch. I hope we get smart and make the switch. UA is starting to gather quite a list of schools and before more make that switch I hope UH jumps on board to be part of the "original group" for there recent major college push.

Apparel contracts mean a lot to basketball recruiting. Nike is king in that regard. Sad, but true.

It definitely does matter and Nike is unquestionably the best. But UC has no issue recruiting. Taking a deal with the most cash and exposure is unquestionably the best move. Nike treats far too many of their affiliate schools as afterthoughts.
