I have been proposing this for months now. The G5 conferences need to come together and form 4 16 team conferences and the Top 2 G5 champions need to come together and play for the right to play in the Access bowl. My conferences goes as follows

I honestly feel this would be the best option to settle the G5 debate, let the teams just settle it on the field. Obviously the AAC and the MW would be the stronger of the 2 conferences each year. But if we just settle it on the field instead of the message board back and forth, College football would be enjoyable again

I actually like that layout.

G5 programs need to reorganize by geography.

It's not a bad layout at all. It breathes rivalries and it makes sure the G5 schools settle things on the field

But . . . . but .. . where's the Sun Belt Conference?

the concept may work, but this layout needs a lot of work, for the intended purpose to be achieved.

It would be awesome to have a division with great geographic rivals that covers all sports. USA + Troy + GS + App are probably at the top of my list that I'd like to maintain connections to. Charlotte would be nice to have in the mix, too (as well as UAB, but...y'know...).

Kennesaw State starts this year and FGCU will probably start a program within the next three years.

Kent State isnt dropping football, and ULM would only go to FCS over the dead body of their athletic department.
