Can't wait to the Navy - ECU rivalry game
Gents, I think it will have the best game atmosphere of the year. It has a really good theme to work with.

I picture the band playing songs like Drunk Sailor. There is certainly potential to be the best AAC rivalry, with all respect.

Salutes !

RE: Can't wait to the Navy - ECU rivalry game
Tulane has had a long standing rivalry with both Army and Navy. Always fun to make the football trips to both Annapolis and West Point! Went up to West Point a few years ago for a Tulane Army football game over Army homecoming weekend. Before the game the Corp of Cadets marched in a full review on their parade ground and the Army marching band played the Tulane fight song! Chet Gladchuk current long time AD at Navy was a former very well liked and respected AD at Tulane.

Really beautiful places but can't compare to NO, a really great town to have good times wherever you are.

LOL, I never thought about the opportunities available with the whole Navy vs. Pirates thing. Perhaps ESPN/CBSSports will pick up on it and do some promos.

Sorry, but I hate playing Navy. We can never stop that darn offense. I don't wanna play them. I don't wanna lose like that anymore.

No No No!

Other than that, Go Navy!

Well it won't be the first time the Navy had to deal with pirates.

Exactly my opinion. I see great marketing potential; it can sell as a great game, family event...

Well, I guess we have no choice but the times are others. Isn't right to expect any meltblown by both sides.

That would be some fun weekly promos if Navy and ECU played each other in the AAC Champ Game!

Is there a trophy for that rivalry? That would be two in the conference since SMU and Navy play for a trophy.

No, but there should be. Maybe the Anchor Bowl? The Trophy could literally be an old Iron Anchor, replica of one.

It should be a wooden plank that the losing mascot has to walk.

This should definetely be a complement.

This way, Navy will have the opportunity to get something like 3-4 trophies in a season. Cool.
