Can CUSA give us a deadline?
I hope CUSA gives us a deadline of 3/30/15 for reinstating football for 2016 season or face leaving for all sports in season 15/16. They could help us push the decision.
If we have to leave, we need to get on with it.

RE: Can CUSA give us a deadline?
Does anyone know if C-USA has officially released their conference schedule for 15-16? O
I suppose we could just be substituted out for Charlotte, but as long as it hasn't happened yet, I'd say there's still a glimmer of hope for next year.

Would probably be best to wait until after CUSA basketball tourney to come with any decisions.

With the review report due back no later than 5/9/15, we need cusa to issue a dealine of 5/31.

Gets us past CUSA tourney too!
I just hate that our student athletes and coaches of all sports continue to be held in limbo.
We need to know our conference fate and let the matriculation happen.
The longer we postpone our future, the more difficult it will be for our coaches to recruit and "compete for championships"

RE: Can CUSA give us a deadline?
While I'm sure that there are some feelings for UAB among those in C-USA administration, their decisions are probably going to be based upon THEIR needs, not ours. Since the 2014-2015 spring sports schedules are set, there is no pressing need for immediate decisions this winter. Didn't someone post that the UAB rifle and bowling teams will finish out this spring?

When will C-USA need to know what affects final fall (2015) schedules? That will determine their need to know and when they will need to know it. Will conference realignment in the other sports affect the "sit out" requirement for any transfers (since that would be a direct result of the football action)?

RE: Can CUSA give us a deadline?
Coach Townsend has posted on Facebook that they're hoping C-USA gives UAB a pass next year in hopes that football is back in 2016. There's that...

Yep, "compete for championships!" Outside of the UA/Bryant Bank controlled BOT, Watts is the worst thing to ever happen to UAB.
