Exclamation Will The Seahawks Repeat?
It's been about ten years since an NFL team has won back to back Super Bowl's. The last time was the Patriots in 2004 & 2005.

The Super Bowl will be a great game this year. 04-cheers

I got the Hawks. 04-cheers

Man, quit watching that game with Greenbay up 19-7, with about 4 minutes left in the 4th qtr. Caught the end of the Pats game. I was looking forward to a Pats/Packers super bowl, only to find out the packers choked the game away. Would have preferred this matchup.

The Pats tore the Colts up. Brady's been there .

Seattle is going to roll into the SB with a lot of confidence after a rally like that.

Its a great matchup and should be a great game.

RE: Will The Seahawks Repeat?
Yes.

NE looked better today.

But even with five turnovers, which means a lot if extra possessions for Green Bay, Seattle held them to around 300 yards. Their offense sputtered most of the game...good Green Bay defense too...would not expect a repeat of that.

Seattle solid, not a blowout, but not a nail biter. Something like 34-21.

I hope not. I like characters, don't get me wrong, but I really don't like Lynch or Sherman.

I think so.

Pats are a smoke and mirrors outfit and the AFC wasn't as good once Peyton's body fell apart.[/b]

I'm taking the Pats in this one. I just hope it's a close one.

The Pats won't roll over like the Broncos did, but they won't beat Seattle either. Bad matchup for them.

RE: Will The Seahawks Repeat?
Gronk is Sherman basically. Personality wise.

Lynch is no more surly than Belicheck.

Blount plays for NE.

Neither team has a corner on characters or characters with annoying habits.

Everyone talks about Seattle's defense. Most seem to overlook their pedestrian offense.

Good coaching. Two weeks to develop defensive scheme by the best mind in football, Brady's savvy and "trick" plays/formations, and I think the Pats roll.

New England - 34
Seattle - 20

I think the score will be a little closer than that. I see the winner by 3.

On paper this should be a tight game. That's why they play the games though. Someone could find a new wrinkle in the game film that creates some separation, maybe showing certain formations and looks could be the difference, there could be a cluster of turnovers, or just some bad luck.

They all play huge roles when 2 strong teams meet.

Last year, the LOB deciphered Peyton Mannings complex pre-snap signals and that was THE difference in the game.

RE: Will The Seahawks Repeat?
The NFC (especially the West) and AFC are two different animals as far as defense is concerned. It's like the talent disparity between the Western Conference and Eastern Conference in the NBA. Even the lowly Rams have a nasty defense and absolutely took it to the Broncos this year.

Seattle had 5 turnovers yesterday and held Green Bay to just 22 points. They essentially locked their offense down. And Rodgers may not have been a threat to run, but he was more of a vertical passing threat than Brady is. The NE offense relies on (illegal) picks and intermediate passing routes ie. 5-10 yard slant passes and screens that go for 20-30 yards (against crappy AFC defenses). Smoke and mirrors.

Seattle will have a field day if Belicheck tries to dink and dunk them. New England will have to run for 150+ yards to even have a prayer.

A Good Defense can win you a Super Bowl. This should be a good game to watch. I'm a Seahawks fan but I'm also a Brady fan, the man is a very good(+) QB.

Or maybe just for once somebody knocks Brady out.
