Tusculum is so bad. Expect a tiny crowd, and the Bucs to win by 30+.

This game is an insult to the fans and a risk to our players. Right up there with College of Faith. Absolutely no reason to play this team at this point in the season.

We have a couple players banged up, this is a great chance to fet them some rest. I wod love to see them go a good part of te game without rembert or riley in the game to practice for next season.

RE: Official Game Thread: Tusculum
Tusculum lists this game as an exhibition game on their schedule. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference between an 'exhibition' game and a real game? Particularly when it comes in the middle of the season?

This game was scheduled by Murry to pad the won lost record and provide the head coach with job security.

If this is an exhibition, we can play Overstreet, correct?

It's an official game for ETSU, but not for Tusculum.

That is unfortunate. It would've been nice to get a glimpse of the progress, if any, Overstreet has made.

I don't mind playing a game against a local school in the spirit of goodwill. I wish, however, it wasn't a regular season game.

Or this late in the season.

Father Vol,
Then what's a mid-major to do to get out from between the devil and the deep blue sea?

You will have to go to the Vonation board to ask him, I just thought it was a near perfect quote so I lifted it. If it were mine I would not have added the sometimes good coach part or maybe changed it to "a bad to sometimes mediocre coach".

No, I think the guy makes a good point -- which brings me back to my original question -- a question for which I don't have an answer, unless, of course, I have a designated basketball gift of $10 million headed to ETSU Athletics.

Well I hope so. Would be sad to see tusculum outrebound us, and full court press us into countless mistakes and makes this a closer game than it should be.

I never miss a game but honestly considered just watching from home. This game, right now, makes no sense at all.

This game doesn't move the needle for me either but I always feel obligated to the players. Heading out to eat shortly and then to the game.

I want to go to the game both for the players and for the MLK ceremonies they may have. I want to see the players play well in an obviously meaningless game.

Let’s hope Bartow utilizes all eleven of his eligible players tonight and gives substantial minutes to some of the support players.
