RE: Nate Oslon likes the choice
Don't have a clue who Nate Olson is, but right off the bat he showed that he doesn't know what he was talking about by saying that attendance has grown since the team moved into the Jack from playing off campus. Evidently he didn't attend many games at either place.

RE: Nate Oslon likes the choice
Nate Olson has become a familiar name with Arkansas sports fans over the past 15 years as he has covered college and preps sports for publications while making radio and TV appearances statewide.
Nate, a Carroll, Iowa native and Northwest Missouri State alum, embarked on his career in Arkansas at the Benton County Daily Record. He served as a writer and sports editor and also made a stop at the Northwest Arkansas Times. He moved to Central Arkansas where he worked at the Pine Bluff Commercial.
Nate, who has been recognized for award-winning writing by the Arkansas Press Association and Associated Press Managing Editors, moved to the magazine business — first with Hooten ‘s Arkansas Football as an online editor and then as an editor for startup VYPE High School Sports magazine. He later became the publisher of VYPE, a national franchise, and also served a stint as the editor of Vertical men’s magazine.
Nate began regular radio appearances on Little Rock radio while working in Pine Bluff, and he also hosted a weekly show during that time. He now sits in weekly on the Shawn Arnell Show heard statewide on the Arkansas Radio Network and during football season is a co-host on Scoreboard Central with Grant Merrill and Rex Nelson running down all of the high school football action in the state.
He has also made numerous television appearances statewide and served as Fox 16’s High School football analyst for four seasons doing a weekly report and live appearances at games on Friday night.

Mr. Olson likely knows more about sports than I do. Don't know if his opinion is worth anymore than mine or yours.

Sounds like he's got an extensive sports background, but perhaps he should stick with high school and hog sports. Evidently doesn't know much about UALR, or he wouldn't have made the statement he made about our attendance going up since we moved our games on campus, and to the Jack. That exposed his lack of knowledge when talking about Trojan basketball. Anyone who attended games at Alltel and at the Jack would know the difference unless they were blind.

He obviously took Chris's reported attendance as his source.

He damn sure wouldn't have figured that out by coming to the games, either at Alltel or the Stephens Center.
