Now that the matchups have been announced, which games do you think ESPN is buying for the Tuesday and Wednesday MACtion games in November.

Since I am a Toledo Fan, I am guessing these as potential matchups
Western Michigan at Toledo
Western Michigan at NIU
Toledo at BG
Toledo at UMASS
Six days and 12 slots if you count ESPN 2 and ESPN U

I don't think that's called guessing. That's just "I hope it's my team."

Out of all the Toledo games you didn't choose NIU at Toledo which has been a midweek game for the last 5+ years

You really don't think UT/WMU, UT/bg, WMU/NIU will be on ESPN2/U? I'm not saying they all will be, but chances are high they will be, plus UT/NIU.

WMU has played 1 MACtion game in 10 years. Now they're going to play 2 next year? highly doubtful.

Defining MACtion as a Tuesday or Wednesday game on an ESPN network, here are WMU's MACtion games over the past decade:

2005 at NIU
2007 vs. CMU
2008 at BSU
2009 vs. BSU
2011 at Toledo
2011 at Miami
2013 at NIU

Considering the 2011 WMU team had multiple MACtion games, I could easily see the 2015 WMU team making multiple MACtion appearances. I just hope the CMU game doesn't become a MACtion game.

I was thinking of MACtion home games which was 2007 but you're correct that he two away games in 2011 were MACtion as well.

I do not count, however, the other games as they are all the final game of the season during the week of Thanksgiving.

or more accurately, I hope it's not my team!!! Hate weeknight games!!!

I was really looking for other school fan bases to chime in about good matchup that would be appealing to TV. Since the conference has sold November go ESPN we might as well plan for it.

Fair enough, although not every MAC team's final game of the season was broadcast on an ESPN network. All of those WMU games listed were.

for the final week the MAC does 1 game on Tues or Wed before Thanksgiving and 5 games on Black Friday. ESPN always covers the Tues/Wed game and 1 Fri game of choice.

Here is what I think the NIU MACtion schedule will look like...

Nov 1-7th MACtion bye week
Nov 11th NIU at Toledo
Nov 17th Ohio at NIU
Nov 24th (Tuesday before Thanksgiving) WMU at NIU


Also with a schedule of 6 potential big MACtion TV match-ups I would expect WMU to have all 4 weeks of MACtion.
