That Nike tO$U crap sucks anyway. I'd have a hard time buying those rags even if I was a fan.

Stopped at the Love's in Ohio just before entering PA and noticed shelves of college ball-caps that included Bearcats, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Penn State and others. The notable omission was Ohio State. That's right. There was not a single OSU cap on the shelves. I made sure I stopped there to gas up on the way back.
Gas is also a LOT cheaper in Ohio than PA or New York, so you should stop there for that reason as well.
PA sucks, especially that Turnpike. Gas is generally more expensive on the east coast. Never thought I'd complain about $2.65/gal but when I gassed up before our trip to the Military Bowl, it was $1.89 here.
The Bearcats have become a national brand thanks to our BB history and recent success in FB. While I was in Clearwater, FL over Thanksgiving, I had at least 1/2 dozen people say "Go Cats!" to me.
I'd venture to say we are the biggest brand not in the P5. Hopefully, that ends sooner rather than later.

I agree.
Hopefully you will find the gear even more awesome when it is all UNDER ARMOUR gear.

I crossed paths with a guy with a UC hoodie while I was in Silicon Valley in December. Gave him the "go Bearcats" and he laughed. Said he actually didn't even go, but he was from Clifton and roots for the Cats.

There are a lot of stores in Cincy that have a huge O$U display and UC in the back. It's really freaking annoying.

RE: UC merchandise sales
Waited till the last minute to buy my brother for xmas. On xmas eve went done to the Homage store in OTR to get him an Eggsavier hoodie (he's an alum). Browsed through and notice a lot of the UC stuff was really picked over. Most of the shirts didn't have any of my size (XL) left.
Pretty cool store with old school team wear if you're into that.

I went to the University of Arizona for grad school. Sunbathers on the Mall....mama mia! Then up to Tempe and Mill Ave on the weekends. The scenery doesn't get much better.

You think this has anything to do with Ono posting about the merchandise sales today on Twitter? If yes, does this mean that there is any legitimacy with him posting about the Oklahoma games years ago only to remove it? See what I did there?

I got a d1cks sporting goods GC for xmas and was surprised to find no UC gear in the Huber heights store, but happy to find a ton of it on their website. Some of it was under armor already. What's up with that?

As long as a MFG is officially licensed with NCAA and they follow the rules they can produce college gear. Under Armour is one of the big ones, no surprise. UC's apparel and eqpt provider, Adidas, ....that contract expires in June.

I think I am going to go into a store in Columbus and buy some UC gear. Everyone is buying OSU national champion shirts, but I have seen a lot of UC fans wearing their shirts around this week, at the gym, at LaRosas in Dublin last night (which kind of makes sense).

I hope that is not one of our "major announcements". Unless there are additional millions of dollars involved, I, and I think most fans, couldn't care less who the official apparel provider is.

For a couple years I wanted it to go back to Nike just to stop the constant whining from the sports fashionistas around here. I couldn't care less who it is as long as they back a brinks truck up and it does not look like an arena league uniform.

How many more millions do you need for it to be major, Bruce?

An additional 1 million dollars per year sounds major to me.

Better be millions, P-5 just passed their proposals to pay full cost attendance for four year scholarship guaranteed and to allow borrowing against future earnings. Here we go, now we'll see who is going to play or not.
