Charlotte AD Appointed to NCAA Division I Council
The NCAA Board of Directors has appointed the first members of the Division I Council, which is the newest level of leadership in Division I. Charlotte 49ers Director of Athletics Judy Rose, who has served as President of the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NACDA), was the first woman to serve on the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee and was one of five finalists for the 2013-14 Sports Business Journal’s Athletic Director of the Year Award, is one of 27 athletic directors named to the 40-person council.
