The traffic violations desk is open from 10-6, Mon-Fri, and there is almost always a line. I would try to avoid that.

Does an unmanned, self service kiosk take your picture? That's what I'm trying to get at. The brochure they sent me makes it seem like it does.

When I did it. The kiosk did everything but that. When I was done at the kiosk a lady working there took the picture and in 3 minutes I had my license. That part is very well run IMO

I used one last year. You just follow the instructions on the screen (~10 min) then wait in line to get your picture taken. Took me about 30 min total. For the record, it was the one in Bartlett on Summer Ave. during the middle of the day.

Same here. Took less than 30 min using the kiosk.

Great to hear, nice to see government get something right. Mine comes up for renewal this year so I'll remember this, perhaps they also have it in Fayette County.

Do yourself a favor. next time, go to Whiteville. Never very busy. They are pretty cool there, too.

Somebody else told me that. Thanks, that's what I may do.

Pro Tip: Don't wear a light blue polo unless you want to blend in very nicely with the backdrop.
