The main thing is that now the Bot's feet are in the fire. They can no longer remain silent and do nothing, not without facing questioning from many directions, with the most pressing being SACS. Watts can lock the office door and hide, hold his breath till he turns blue, he's still on the way out.

That will work too. It will achieve the same end...

I don't know if Watts will resign, get fired or not. I will never underestimate the arrogance of the man or the PJ and John John. What I do know is that the three and half no confidence votes will help our lobbying efforts in Montgomery.

I hope Watts is gone tomorrow, but if he is able to stay on I am going to look at the silver lining in that black cloud. If the BOT doesn't fire him after all of this, it will help us illustrate how arrogant they are to the legislature.

If the BOT doesn't fire Watts after he has turned absolutely everyone in the University and metro area against himself, it will be proof positive they were the one who did the deed and Watts was only their trigger man. Then all of the spotlights will be turned on the BOT, and roaches like to keep everything nice and dark

That's why I figure he can't last long. They won't allow it. It focuses too much attention on them, and they are back room dealers.

Supposedly this is the first time a faculty senate has voted no confidence in a president at any university in the state of alabama

& considering the fact that Bentley removed members from the Alabama State BOT, any inaction by Bentley on this would throw up a red flag.

Since the BoT wasn't concerned when one of its presidents cut major athletics programs, I'm sure they'll show the same apathy when the next president immediately reinstates those programs.

They're counting them three times (seriously)

must be close?

It is in their bylaws to count three times.

The BOT meat shield known as Porky Ray Watts can only take so many bullets and arrows before he will have to be replaced. Keep nailing Ray to the wall as long as he is still squirming. Don't let Ray be replaced without us getting to the BOT.

CHANGE THIS WHOLE DAMN STATE !!!!
