Seeing Green and Gold less then miles from T-Town
Just a little relief from the stress of the Watts watch, something to ponder as AN OPINION TO THE motive for the sudden change in the Carr Report original commission.
Seeing the Green and Gold and the up tempo offense of the 2014 UAB Football team was a thing to behold, 10 seconds between plays, running, running, and over the top touchdown.

I suspect the color Green and Gold are so similar to the Oregon colors and the Blazer offense attack is so similar to the quack attack.
And who hates up tempo football more then U of Alabama, well THE Alabama HEAD COACH for one and the UABOT, AND YOU KNOW PBJ is always a step ahead of what's best for Alabama FOOTBALL.

The BOT could not take the chance of having another big time successful program in Alabama, one in the states largest city, less than 50 miles away.
The BOT had to strike now, hence change the direction of the Carr Report.
Conspiracy, Black Helicopters, or did the BOT fear that UAB football had fulfilled the mandate to increase attendance and win.

There were promises made and broken, but if UAB was allowed to continue becoming the successful football program it was becoming, the BOT was going to have to VERY PUBLICLY back track on the biggest, unspoken promise of helping UAB become more successful by giving it the resources dangled like a carrot by the BOT and in their demand to show improvement.

Well UAB did show improvement, doubled attendance and tripled the wins, was Bowl eligible, had the COY, multiple players all conference, player mentioned on numerous all American media and publications, recognized by USA Today a team with the best turnaround.
Football had to die or UABOT faced fighting a 2 front war for recruits, fans, money and notoriety.
I started a thread, I believe in reference to Basketball well before this fight started, I mentioned we have met the enemy and the enemy was within.
Well unfortunately I was proven right, so let us remain vigilant and remember words are the most powerful forces on earth, so be careful and measured using them.
Go Blazers, Rebounder2U.

Change in Carr report was reportedly on October 6th.
UAB had a big win vs Western Kentucky and had some momentum.
Alabama had just lost to Ole Miss.
Can you say "kick the dog"?

Kicking the dog is the only thing the BOT enjoys doing for UAB.
