Best description of a UK basketball crowd I've ever heard; and what makes it even more interesting is that the Cards' crowd in that same arena wasn't that way at all. The Card fan base is very diverse.

Believe me, I'm no defender of the UK fanbase but to be fair, Kentucky is a very "white" state, only 7,8% black. in fact, it's the whitest "Southern" state by far. Outside of Louisville, there are only about 200,000 out of 3,700,000 non-Louisville area Kentuckians who are black (5%). The Louisville, Jefferson County area has about 41% of the black population of Kentucky. Even then, Louisville is only 18% black which is very low by large urban standards. So obviously the Louisville fanbase would be more diverse than Kentucky's.

With that said, Kentucky fans are ignorant, obnoxious, etc, etc, etc.
