They would score that layup at the buzzer to deny the double-digit win I called for. But hell, it's a win, and that was a very tough comeback attempt from WCU. The Bucs scared us letting WCU get back within 1 in the 2nd half, but ultimately ETSU took care of the ball game.

So...Mercer is currently in 1st? F that.

Alex did play really well.

Really should have been 3 blocks for Bates, too. They called a clean one as a foul. If he can just find a way to give a few more points per game, and of course continue the awesome defensive play from tonight, it would provide the extra toughness we've been lacking in close games. It's probably a serious factor in the win against WCU's bigs.

I'll be at VMI as well.

You never get any attention in time from tech help unless you make it. I thanked the staff twice after that, especially for their professional response, and they finally acknowledged that there was an issue. Better luck next time. I also thought the announcers were fairly entertaining and let them know. (And to clarify, did not use profanity in email at any point. But man, that was a frustrating viewing experience.)

I wish I could go, but I can't make this one. A bunch of us are planning on going to Wofford the following Saturday.

I've noticed that Western's feed has not been the best most of the year. Most of the time, it is choppy.

But The Citadel's may be more annoying. They have the score and time at the bottom of the screen. Tonight's game, every time someone scored, they updated the score and the time. Every time action stopped, the clock updated. In between, the clock stuck. In other games, the clock and score would not move for long stretches. It was ridiculous.

Tonight while watching the Wofford-The Citadel game, Wofford had the ball late, Cochran lost it and the ball was loose on the floor, and there was no telling how much time was left. Finally came out there was about 3 seconds left. As the ball moved around the floor, I was wondering if the clock would run out or not. Very frustrating.

UNCG's feed can be annoying too because of the angles they show the game from, but that's the biggest complaint of the other eight feeds.

I received a message directly from the Director of Multimedia for the SoCon. Hopefully he will have the webcast issues corrected in the future.

That would be great! I've finally got the appropriate components so I can watch the game on the tv via my iPad, it would be nice to have a good picture.
