Some Highlights

OOC Record

NCHC 50-24-4 (.667)
Hockey East 60-42-9 (.581)
WCHA 28-26-8 (.516)
ECAC 45-48-9 (.485)
BIG TEN 35-40-6 (.469)
ATLANTIC 12-50-4 (.212)

While the WCHA and Hockey East also have winning records vs. the Big Ten, the NCHC owns them this season, going 13-2-0 (.867).

Hockey East is the only league that is .500 against the NCHC, at 7-7-1.

The NCHC and Hockey East are the only two conferences who are .500 or better against every other conference. But the NCHC has a better overall OOC record by far. HE teams have played 111 OOC games, NCHC teams have contested 78 non conference games.

The WCHA is the third strongest, losing out head to head only to the NCHC and in a tie with Hockey East.

After the dismal OOC showing last season, this year the NCHC is backing up claims to be the toughest league. Now, about that NCAA championship...." 05-mafia
