Every fan base has a few @ss-holes. I like to upset those few. I played middle linebacker and was very good at using trash talk to take an opponent's mind out of the game. However, most Memphis and Louisville fans are good people. Let's face it we are very similar fan bases because:

1) we both were once private universities
2) Both are urban southern river schools
3) We both have SEC problems in Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
4) Both have excellent basketball.
5) Both have rising football programs.

All in all both our schools have our jerks and it is a two way street on this issue. I like Memphis and I like Cincinnati our three schools have a rich history against each other.

Folks, I like Memphis because as a child I lived in Millington for three years. I was raised as a Navy brat. I enjoyed my days in Tennessee. And the dude is upset because I did not want to add SMU, Tulsa, Tulane and Navy to the American.
