What I found truly remarkable is that in the final polls before the bowl games, the AP and Coaches polls were identical through the top 12 places. Not just the same teams, but the exact same order. And the only real anomaly between those two and the CFP rankings was that the CFP had Ole Miss in their top 12 (#9) while the other two both had Wisconsin at #11. Considering the whupping Wisconsin had just taken against Ohio State, that's one the committee got right, IMO. But trying to distinguish the proper order among all the 3 loss teams is pretty hit and miss anyway.
