RE: The hits keep coming for ucf. Glenn to the NFL
And to think I was called out for thinking next year is a down year.
Oline is down, WR's are down, DLine is average, LB's are down, Defensive Backfield graduates 4/4, RB's are average, the only positive is an up/down QB who may or may not have a sophomore slump next year. (sophomore year, being second starting year)
Tough to lose that much. On the other hand it does speak volumes about the level of talent UCF is bringing in to have multiple players forgoing their senior year to go pro. That isn't something you see every day at Gof5 schools. It's a problem for next year but it could be a plus if UCF can consistently bring in that caliber of players.

I'll take any glimmer of silver lining I can today. I guess in the long run, having players leave early will help with recruiting.

Actually, that is exactly what is happening....UCF is doing a great job DEVELOPING players that the NFL keeps calling early.

I'm not as worried about the secondary. Losing Glenn does suck but the guys behind him have a lot more talent. They are just in experienced. We knew Perriman was leaving and there is nobody behind him. We need a 4 star WR recruit that wants to start next year.
Does anybody know what Brent Key's offensive philosophy is?

Scoring more points than the other team. My guess since he is O'leary's replacement, he probably will focus on defense, running the ball, etc. Exactly the same...Works fine as long as we can get a good OLine.
Key needs experience. It will be a simplified offense until he can figure out the offense. We have Chris Williams etc to cover the corners and we have safety covered. I would haves liked mike Rogers right now with a year under his belt. He is all in on Ucf still we just need to get his test scores up

I am not sure but I would guess that its a conservative pro style offense.

As the pro's continue to adopt the spread, what will we call this style of offense in the future?
