Exclamation Ohio State's performance in the Title game......
Is another iron in the fire that should nudge the BIGXII towards expansion into Ohio belt....There are numerous players on the Buckeyes that hail from Ohio.....As well as Oregon completely throttled FSU, a team that not only domin8s Florida's recruiting prospects, but is also pilfering successfully in Texas!

Bottom line: BIGXII desperately needs to infultr8 other regions for recruiting advantages; such as: B1G10 and SEC territory....Bodes well for Cincinnati as well as Memphis!!!!!

As well as this game is being played in BIGXIIs backyard and the support from Ohio is tremendous here! Has to have a major impact as Ohio is "In tha house"! way to represent OHIO!

It's a good game to watch. Some fast-paced, aggressive football.

03-lmfao Funny! Immense talent in Ohio and B1G country......BIGXII has to tap into to even compete within even their own conference......Texas is no longer the sexy University to drive the BIGs $$$$ cow Longhorn Network! Mock if you must, but this game shows that Ohio is a "player"! Wow! I like how I did that! COGS

RE: Ohio State's performance in the Title game......
Ohio State has 5 QB's on their roster:

3) From Ohio < B1G territory
1) From Texas < BIGXII territory
1) From Goergia < SEC territory

They are down to QB #3 and have walked through this Championship as one of the youngest teams and have throttled one of the most prolific offenses in FBS.....The BIGXII is in awe and will do what they must as Texas is no longer a media darling....Something must be done. If Ohio State could win Back 2 back 2 back Championships, Then the BIGXII and the Longhorn Networks worth will dwindle!

That last touchdown was interesting. Up 15 with 28 seconds left. I'm sure that raised an eyebrow or two.

I'm probably overreacting, but that touchdown really soured my opinion of Ohio State at the end. I thought it was extremely classless and unnecessary.

They were at the five yard line. They didn't pass. Oregon was totally outclassed. OSU was made fun of by everyone. Especially down south. If anyone deserved to rub it in it was them. Talk about a team that got no respect. Everybody told them they didn't belong in the final four. Well they showed them they did and then some.

It may have proven something about urban meyer though, as did his reaction after they punched it in at that point.

As a child, Urban was fierce in backyard football with his brothers, Rural and Oscar.

Game changed on the first dropped pass on third down. If Oregon had of scored and gone up 14 then OSU would have been deflated emotionally. Especially if they came down the next time and completed the second dropped pass and went on and scored again.

Those two dropped passed and the failed 4th down try totally changed the game.

Well Urban does have an SEC background. So winning in a classy way is not a strong point.

Agree about those two dropped passes being momentum killers for Oregon. However, I think the physical dominance of OSU, combined with Oregon's key missing players, would have ultimately resulted in a win for OSU. I don't like OSU and was pulling for Oregon, but I'll have to admit that the best team (or at least the one who wanted it the most) won last night. Congrats to Ohio State.
