RE: National Championship Prediction
Oregon will win. 45-31

I saw what Oregon did to both Mich St and to Flor St. Out-RUNNING them in the 2nd half.

I dont think OSU defense is good enough to slow them down and OSU offense is very good, but not good enough to keep up.

RE: National Championship Prediction
I thought it was interesting that although the betting line shrank from OU -7 to OU -6, the over/under increased from 70.5 to 74. I would have thought that Ohio State's best chance is to keep the score relatively low by eating clock and keeping the Ducks' offense off the field. That would suggest a strategy that would favor the under. Apparently, bettors are expecting a shootout.

Much as it pains me to do so I will throw my hat in with Oregon. Should they pull it off it would be very odd symmetry, as the Ducks also took the first NCAA men's basketball tourney over you guessed it, Ohio State.

Ohio State 49, Michigan State 37
Ohio State 42, Alabama 35

Unless OSU has something completely different going on tonight, I think those scores suggest where their best chance to win is.

Scores are often a little lower than expected in title games because teams are tighter, though. Based on that, I'll go with Oregon 34, Ohio State 31.

I had a similar score in mind, Oregon 48, Ohio St. 31.
