Green Wave defeated USF
How about Tulane's performance in the Big East sorry AAC this year. Predicted by all AAC coaches to finish last in the conference. Roll Green Wave! Louis Dabney had 25 points! Great wins over Memphis and USF. The Temple game was a nail bitter loss for Tulane..

Tulane is best academic school and number 1 in basketball and everyone should just forfeit the rest of their seasons.

Should we also hand them our Natty from last year as well?

Beating usf isn't that big of a deal. No disrespect as beating UCF is not that big of a deal either

I agree wholeheartedly about Tulane academics, the best in the AAC. Beating both Memphis and USF is a big deal as the AAC coaches predicted Tulane to finish last in the conference. Keep your eyes on Louis Dabney and company. Roll Green Wave!

Beating USF in basketball... There's something that rarely happens.

Yup, Tulane is in the ranks of the elite now.

People are going to take the easy jokes, but it's a step up for Tulane and you have to start somewhere. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had joined the league and gotten blown out to a 3-15 AAC record. Instead, they're winning the winnable games and building a program. I can think of a few other schools in the league that should take note.

I think most people (including myself) are cracking jokes in reaction to a certain poster.

We all know Tulane has done very well this year (much better than most of us thought). Tulane's progress and Temple's resurgence are a few high-points in a rather disappointing year thus far for the conference.

Fair enough, I took this post at face value, but I do understand certain posters get the respect they deserve.

I'd agree... I was wondering why it needed a thread. Thread for every game result now? lol

There are two other pro-Tulane fan sites that I visit, and I can promise you that in the preseason, a 3-15 conference record was pretty close to the consensus among the people who made predictions.

Totally agree, but many didn't realize the bottom of this league would be so bad. That being said, this TU team still looks a whole lot better than we expected. We are at least getting some productive minutes from the young front court and no one thought that was going to happen.

Still think playing the top of the league will cause many problems but we should absolutely beat the bottom teams. A close to .500 record is very doable AND next year's recruiting class is by far the best in EC's tenure.
