Ill post when I can. Next year is not shaping up to be good.

Our Coaching lineup has been completed, including a controversial hire (not for UCF, I think it's a great hire and many so far share that opinion)

Key = OC
Bresnahan = DC
Fisher = Corners
Thacker = Safeties

Aight well it's all over twitter now.

Taaffe is retiring, Brent Key takes over at OC. Offense will be simplified for a new OC, and extended youth at the WR position. Breshad Perriman to the NFL Draft.

More to come.

so Key has never called plays in his life(before the bowl game like rumored)?

O'leary really thinks that is a risk worth taking? UCF was a bad OC away from losing a lot more games the last 2 seasons

This is when giving O'leary more power than the University President is going to backfire if the next 2 seasons go horribly wrong and kill Program momentum

The one bright spot to USF's season is coming to UCF. Love the hire.

We are glad you have him04-cheers

69% completions from opponents.
First time in years that a USF defense allowed over 4.0 yds per carries at 4.5 this past year. Very passive allowed 35 passing TDs with 17ints

Meh. Don't like the dc hire at all. We can do better than that. But maybe we just didn't have the $$$ to get who we wanted.

USF's atrocious offense put the defense in bad situations all year long. They held UCF to 16 points which was the 2nd lowest output for the Knights all season behind our loss to Top 25, SEC East Champion Missouri.

He has coached with GOL before and will fit our system just fine. If USF fans really wanted him out then this is a hell of a win-win.

It's not possible at all that it was the players not being able to execute what the coach wanted to do? Maybe your defense was just nge

If you want to believe that one, knock yourself out. We shall see on the field results.

402 yds per game allowed 69% completions allowed, 4.5 yds rushing per carry

You can have him.

We will find out won't we? All I'm going to say is that you won't find many if any USF fans crying over him going to you guys

I don't expect anyone from usf to be upset about it at all, yall let him go. I personally don't like this hire at all. The only reasons I can think we hired him was that gol knew him, worked with him in the past, he has experience, and we probably got a bargain.

RE: Lots of changes at UCF [Key = OC, Former USF DC now UCF]
look at the defensive talent usf has brought the last few years..

keep in mind ucf, a school that has been a decently winning team located in the center of a a top 3 recruiting state in florida has had to rely on lower end goergia recruits or transfers

a way to look at this hire is to imagine what those usf recruits woud have looked like under oleary discipline ...

Is bresnahan the guy who coached when usf forced 5 turnovers when we won at bright house two years ago?
