Lincoln Riley as OC.

Sad for ECU fans but congrats Lincoln Riley. I think he will do a great job for the Sooners.

I apologize--- it appears this is not a done deal. Dean Blevins may have jumped the gun in announcing this.

Whether its OU or somebody else, Riley won't be at ECU for long. I'm amused by the criticism Ruffin McNeill took when he hired him. Guess he knew what he was doing after all.

New reports are saying this is going to happen.

If so, I wish him good fortune in the future and thank him for all he's done at ECU.

He only took criticism when he hired him because Riley was only 26. It was understandable.

Quite a few Tech fans wanted Ruff and Riley after we fired Leach. In fact, Ruff and Riley won the Alamo Bowl vs Michigan St. Just an opinion with no facts but I think Ruff/Riley would have been a lot better than Tuberville.

Nearly every Pirate fan I know (and I know a few) loves Ruff and we appreciate the job that Lincoln did here; we wish him nothing but the best.

I am thinking that we'll promote from within (Dave Nichol or Donnie Kirkpatrick) and likely hire a OB coach (rumors are out there that we could be looking at Graham Harrell).

IIRC, Graham Harrell is a GA for Mike Leach at Washington St. If ECU can get Graham, consider it major pick up. Graham ate and slept Mike Leach/Texas Tech football.

Texas Tech fans have been very supportive of Ruff/Riley and the ECU Pirates and that won't change if Ruff hires Graham.

Edit---- some Texas Tech fans want Graham to become our OC once he gains a little more experience. His dad was a very well known Texas HS coach and Graham wants to be a coach.
