I'm watching to see which players who should return next year develop and improve. I wrote a thread back in the spring indicating that this year was largely irrelevant, as long as we developed a core to go with next year's class. I still believe that, although now the question is whether player development will benefit Pastner or a new coach. Regardless which one, the program will survive and next year could be special if we can develop a key player or two.

Its really hard to watch this cougar team play. We might not win another game this year.

The problem is that I'm not seeing any significant player improvement. I wish I was, but the first half against Houston was dreadful. And the substitution patterns are back to being bizarre.

Austin Nichols is improving. I just hope we can keep him for next year. He has been steady since the OK State game.
