Its because in the past, media organizations (newspaper, tv networks, etc...), would get the ABBREVIATION of the school wrong (even when he it was noted on the helmet, on the field, court, uniforms, press guides, ec...), as these were the type of abbreviations idiots used in their reports/articles because in sports, most don't use the LONG official name of each schools.

I don't take issue with UCF wanting to be called UCF and the reasons are theirs. But stick with that in any and all scenarios. Just check out the AAC's list of conference schools...in any capacity. I find it absolutely hypocritical to push UCF in everyone's face, to the point that UCF fans themselves get bent out of shape when they hear anything other than UCF...only to have your administration push that "UCF" be listed in with the schools whose names are between the letter B and D. That is wanting to be known as Central Florida, not UCF. If you want to be known as UCF and it is a mission to get people to conform, then don't insist on having UCF listed where the Cs are. And if you don't believe The school has EVERYTHING to do with whether they had the AAC list UCF in with the Cs versus the Us, then you are discrediting your own reasoning as to why UCF pushes "UCF." I absolutely understand why UCF wants "UCF" listed in with the Cs. You get seen earlier. Just think that all of the whining about being called UCF, acting like being called Central Florida is disrespectful and then wanting to be listed with the Cs in any list is like having split personalities.

Why are we assuming that the school is pushing to be put in a certain order on some website? Does anyone have a source to back this claim or are you assuming that we actually care in what order our school is listed?

I think a SIMPLER explanation is that the school are arranged by their dominant name rather than "University". It's probably the same reason University of Houston or the University of Connecticut or the University of Cincinnati aren't in the U bracket either.

Then UCF is crying a hissy fit for being listed in the Cs. What do you think? Most everything on this board is circumstantial. Including most of what UCF fans say...but you guys don't need any proof to proclaim you are factually correct. Use your head. Either UCF said they wanted to be in the Cs or they are fighting with the conference to get listed in the Us instead of the Cs...which I think is a stretch to believe the conference would go against what the University desired in that scenario.

OU ended up taking me for Grad School a couple months later anyway so it worked out....

Actually, even though USC was founded in 1880 while UCF was founded in 1963, UCF and USC have been listed in recent years on US NEWS Top 20 Up-and-coming National Universities.

I'm not saying we will repeat as most knight fans are unsure of the state of the program but we've done alright for ourselves the past few years. Your better served not injecting your useless opinions in this board while pretending not to be condescending. In all, we don't care about what you say cause it's garbage.

So to get back on track gol said today that they are looking for the best game but we have dwindling ops as people don't want to play us at home
