Yeah, ISU doing well doesn't hurt NIU in the slightest. Go Redbirds!

Why more coaches don't grow mustaches I'll never know. Mustaches. Win. Championships. (Okay, forget Wannstedt.)

Wow, should've been offensive pass interference on the third and ten conversion. Big push off.

EDIT: Upon further review, it wasn't that big a push off. Dude was going down due to spinning.

Another near brawl at the end of the game. The NCAA might have to do something about this nonsense. Maybe not allow teams on the pitch after the game or more security or something.

I thought isu played a good game until that last drive. Double cover that wr. He got all the yardage except for the TD

The ISU QB should have pulled a madden and downed himself on the 1 yard line before scoring. Then they should have taken 3 knees and kicked a field goal to win it.

They called an all out blitz and the QB threw a good ball. It was one of those "genius if it works, goat if it doesn't" calls.

Nah, the Bison still had all their timeouts.

ISU waited to long to bring pressure on the last drive. Once again the prevent defense prevents a team from winning.

Playoffs are a heck of a lot more exciting than bowl games.

They brought 4, so it wasn't total prevent, but yeah, they didn't get enough pressure.

ISU's QB is outstanding; he'd start at NU for sure and likely Illinois as well. If ISU is the 4th best team in Illinois then that says quite a bit about the strength of college football in this state.

You clearly didn't watch much Illinois or Northwestern football. And for good reason, it should be kept a shameful secret. This state is bad at college sports. For reasons I cannot comprehend.

I did watch Illinois qualify for a bowl game and NU beat PSU, Wisky & Notre Dame. Illinois is improving and NU when motivated can beat more talented teams.

That is a low standard.

4 teams is not a true playoff, not even close. Especially when those 4 are decided by a corrupt committee
