Alumni and former nfl Db travis fisher will coach dbs for UCF.

I don't think it's official yet. But should be announced next week. I like this hire. Could help with recruiting. Also some shuffling on the offensive staff and Kevin smith could be the new rb coach. 3rd all time single season rushing leader

I like that. It's always good to bring alumni into the fold, especially those with nfl experience.

Is that official. Yesterday he started following all of our recruits. Thought is coach zo moves up and they are bringing another person in. That name isn't out there on the net yet but I think I know who it is. I know Kevin was getting more involved with recruiting and he had done another stint with us before this one but that would surprise me.

Travis had a good NFL Career. Kevin Smith would be a great coach.

Kevin is a graduate assistant right now. Rumor is if taffe retires they would move key to oc Barrett to qbs and smith to rbs. Could probably help recruiting as a former UCF player that broke records and made it to the league

Kevin Smith is finishing his 4 year degree. He left after his junior season for the NFL. So he is only a student volunteer assistant.

I thought he already got his degree. Obviously he left after his junior year but I thought he came back to finish a while ago

This. He's a few years from being a legit position coach, imo of course. I have nothing but admiration for his contributions to UCF, but it's too early, way too early.

I hate Travis and his offense.
