"Control" of the program: This year and next.
Full disclosure: I do not have tremendous faith that JP is the coach we all hoped he would be. I DO think he will be the Coach next year at a minimum for financial considerations and overall Athletic Department priorities.

That being said, as the topic of the day is whether or not JP has control of the program or in the alternative he could listen to a mentor type assistant...it strikes me that Pastner doesn't have a choice next year. From where I am sitting a certain Assistant Coach is going to have all of the control and all of the leverage next year anyway, because he is the father of the "savior recruits" and future recruits. It seems that Pastner has lost control this year, but it is a concrete cold fact that Jp has lost it for next year. Hope Papa Lawson can coach college as well as high school.
