TC, why Hurley above Pearl? Does Hurley have the personality to manage and promote a high D-1 program? I know he was a heck of a player and seems to be a winner at smaller schools but a large part of coaching is having a vision for the program and "selling" that vision. Pearl is a good, proven coach, has a "take charge" personality, and also has good program "salesmanship" skills to go along with it, perhaps only second to Calipari in that respect.

Like or hate him I truly believe pearl would be one of the top 2 hires we could get if...

Then that means a coaching change mid-season will actually occur...I figured they'd wait till the end of the year but...

Agree. This team started out very badly, got somewhat better, and now seems to be quickly imploding with "disciplinary" issues.

Think about it. Why would Barbee on there list now when he clearly was not last time around. Can anyone imagine one of Cal's guys getting the call?
