Heck, what could they know?

All the other coaches in our conference think the same thing.

AAC coaches are hoping Pastner is here a long time.

I'm sure there are a ton of GREAT coaches that would love to have a job where the last coach had no experience, went to the tournament 4 years in a row; had a bunch of psychos calling for his head BEFORE this season, and then went into complete hysterics when a team with 9 newcomers lost to a top 10 team in it's first game.

Good coaches aren't stupid.

Thats a fair statement but as usual you choose to leave out most of the story. Yes a large portion of our fans including myself feel a change is in order and yes some of our fans are not kind in verbalizing it.

The part you left out was that every game we play it seems the announcer is always talking about the stigma on Josh that he really cannot coach at this point. The same goes for many national writers. And lets not forget to mention that I have been to three different message boards, Arizona, Tennessee and Kentucky and the majority of the threads were very negative about Pastner and his coaching. You would think that the Zona fans would be a little more positive about the guy.

So yes a lot of Memphis fans believe JP should be gone, the part you left out is that fans of other schools and writers and announcers are all saying a lot of the same stuff without the vitriol. Our fans are passionate.

No announcer or national writer has ever said that he can't coach. You are projecting your fantasies and/or lying.

Announcers are constantly talking about the stigma on josh is that he can't coach.

You have the lying championship all wrapped up.

#1 on the board.

Like an 8 year old trying to use fancy words that he/she/it doesn't know the meaning of. No announcer has ever said that he can't coach. Incredible how people will lie when they are consumed with hate.

I trust you and all (now I am lying), but kindly provide a link where any announcer states that Pastner can't coach.

You miss the point. It is not what they say, but what they want to say. Folks simply have make the connection using their psychic powers.

Well, I hope we grab Pearl because I don't see another guy worth burning 6-7 million on. That means we keep Pastner and hope Papa Lawson can help right the gap between Pastner and the players, plus I hear he is strong with the xs and os so we will see. X isn't coming here, he is shaking down KYU for more money. He will leave to coach Lebron James but that is probably it. Calhoun can coach his tail off but the recruiting is, well, I just don't know if we can risk it, plus he is probably kicked back by the fireplace somewhere. As the song goes, "Ridin the storm out" Josh is a smart guy, he will get it figured out eventually, just don't know how long that will be.
