....... says the media outlets who just days later refuse to show any Charlie Hedbo cartoons, and the AP who removed all Charlie Hedbo from their archives and then Pisschrist too when they were called on their stunning hypocrisy.

I think I'm just going to have to go ahead and lump the United States in with the EU more and more and just rag on the West writ large. The difference in their progressive statist wet dreams built upon never offending anyone, never challenging someone's beliefs, central economic planning, nanny statism, surveillance statism, cradle to grave welfare, and croney capitalism is becoming vanishingly small.

It's amazing the power two idiots can have over an entire media industry.

A few points - first, it's the movie theaters that made the decision to nix the movie, not Sony. Second, the threat of jihadis taking action against individuals like Theo Van Gogh and others is proven, particularly in Europe. Third, at least the Wall Street Journal did print a Hedbo cover, but I'm not sure if it was one that was Haram. But, by doing so, they are exposing their staff to some risk... maybe not a lot, but some. On the other hand, no-one ever should've taken the threat over showing The Interview seriously... that was just absurd.

7 or 8 years ago we'd all be laughing in the faces of terrorists and daring them to come do something about our toons.
