Dallas Cowboys (With the Houston Texans as my number 2 team)

Houston Rockets

Don't do baseball even though I am thinking about checking out some Sugarland Skeeter's games. Maybe seeing a few games in person will ignite at least a like for the game.

After the World Cup, I wanted to start watching the Dynamo, but people who know a lot more about soccer then I do, told me not to waste my time.

the guys in st. louis outdid him - they got a percentage of nba tv revenue for pertituity in exchange for shutting down. the nba finally bought them out about a year ago for $500 million on top of all the cash they had accrued over 40'ish years (estimated to be just south of $300 million). not bad. brown "only" got a little over $3 million to settle.

You're right.

For some reason I was thinking that he got the same deal but he didn't.

Thanks for clearing that up, I've had that wrong in my head for decades.

Sidepoint, the Kentucky Colonels and the Spirit of St. Louis are the two best professional sports franchise names ever created.

if they all shutdown tomorrow i would not care at all.

Maybe next time you can, oh I don't know, NOT click on this thread. No one gives a flying f**k about you and you're (supposed) hatred of all pro sports. Not one.

NEWSFLASH. The same amount of people care that you apparently like every team with a jock in all of pro sports. Not one.

Boston Bruins (former Hartford Whalers fan)

This is the song that was used by the Whalers when they took the ice and it was also played immediately whenever they scored a goal. UConn hockey now uses this song:

RE: OT: List your favorite pro teams.
Not a big pro sports team fan. Manly because I'm not going to support another person business who already has tons of money and does not need it. Also there are none in my region (ENC) so winning pro teams don't bring much revenue to the region. However I do watch:
NFL
Panthers (Panthers in playoff does bolster local economy a little)
Cowboys

NBA (I hate the NBA)
I guess the Hornets

MLB
Braves (Don't watch pro baseball on tv to slow would attend games but to far, however will catch highlights here and there)

NHL
Hurricanes (Don't ever keep up with them could not even tell you how they are doing this year however when they do make the playoff you bet I hop on that bandwagon real fast) Hockey is one of the sports that is just fun to watch if East Carolina had a varsity hockey team I definitely would attend and watch on tv. I have attended Hurricanes games in the past and they have been fun but I do not look for them on tv and when I do find them usually change it unless its the playoffs.

MLS (I hate soccer like really hate it)
I don't even know of a pro team. I know Cary has some kind of soccer team not sure if womens or mens or if it is MLS. Also know that Redbull has a team in NY but not sure if they still do.

MLL (I think that's the acronym for professional lacrosse)
??????? I like college lacrosse and usually watch the championships wish I understood the sport more I get confused every once in awhile but I guess that's what happens when you watch one match? game? a year.

INDIVIDUAL PRO SPORTS

PGA Tour (Love Golf, Master's is the best thing in history)
Tiger Woods
Bubba Watson
Plus anyone who is playing well that I can get behind

NASCAR (Only watch two or three races a year... Dayton, Talladega, and Charlotte.
Hendrick Racing Team (Gordon, Junior, Johnson....)

TENNIS (Don't watch)

HORSE RACING
I watch the Kentucky Derby

That's cool.

I became a Bruins fan in junior high, because another friend who was an Oilers fan (prob b/c of Gretzky) was trash talking a Bruins friend of mine. I came to the Bruins fan's defense, even though I knew less than nothing about hockey.
