AM 560 will have it. Also, depending on how close you are to DeKalb, you can also pickup AM 1360 in most of the suburbs.

Bill Baker said last night that Bowie is 50/50 for Saturday. Bowie was on the bench last night and was moving his upper body well.

Ohio boxscore said 5,743. Is that true or just EMU style counting? If so that's really impressive.

Based on what the announcers said that was probably a little inflated, they estimated about 4500. But by Ohio standards, even 5500 I want to say is subpar

NIU red black, Ohio averaged 6124 for home games last year. They have the biggest stadium in the MAC. They draw well. Thats about half full in their convo. Toledo also draws well if they are good.

In football, that would be the ultimate insult. In basketball, I'm not so sure.
If anyone ever called the Jayhawks the 'Sooners' in a football writeup, it wouldn't be seen as anything but an insult. I expect people to know our mascot if they're a writer.

1) NIU is relevant
2) We all have jobs. If writing about sports was mine, no way I screw up NIU's mascot.
...draw and quarter him.

I know. If you're too lazy to look up the mascot, you could just put NIU or Northern Illinois, instead of picking a name out of thin air, which must have happened here.

No, I'm guessing the writer confused us with the Northeastern Illinois Golden Eagles, formerly of the MCC.
Still inexcusable...

Doubtful, the writer just screwed up royally.
By the way, don't confuse the MCC (Midwestern Collegiate Conference) with the Mid-Con as the Mid-Continent Conference was actually referrred to....it began as the Association of Mid-Continent Universities (AMCU), became the Mid-Con, and is now the Summit League. Perhaps Northeastern Illinois' top athletic achievement was actually beating our Huskies for the 1996 Mid-Con playoff in baseball to earn an NCAA Tournament berth. NIU was a member of the Mid-Con until leaving that league to form the MCC. Northeastern Illinois was never a member of the true MCC. Since the 1997-98 season, NEIU has not had an athletic program, just club teams.
