No. The UAB actually had support. Do you think anyone besides yourself will picket when Georgia State drops football? Reaaallly? You won't have a fraction of the uproar. Not a student, faculty member, or alumni will argue. They're already questioning the never-ending deficits it takes to fund that program. How much more money do you need to lose to realize it? The vast majority of Atlanta, including Georgia State folks, feel this way. You are indeed the Baghdad Bob of Georgia State football. It's comical. If you were smart, you'd maximize basketball and try to push to the A-10.

When you refer to your coach as "this coach" you know it's a sinkhole!

I get that, and that's all great.

But as to what it means for specifically the football program, we'll have to see. I'm sure you'll get a little attendance & recruiting bump from shiny new facilities, but you'll need to win to keep that momentum. The excitement of the new program didn't lead to many bodies in the seats after the first few games.

1) You didnt discover fire with that statement. Like duh. :)
2) Have you heard of Cheryl Levick aka Program Sucubus?

What will the excuse be next year, or the following year, or the following year....

You do know that GSU is the punch line of college football, right? When FCS programs are laughing at you, you know you have a perception problem.

If this coach doesn't win 6 games this year then he is gone. No excuses.

LOL! His problem not mine. He will have to show me and I guess the fanbase and definitely the AD who did not hire him, something this year. We should have won 4 or 5 games last year. So this year those 3 to 10 point 4th quarter collapses will be unacceptable. By the number of UAB transfers and JUCOs who he bought in January (14) I think he gets the message.

We have outdrawn UAB in ticket sales every year of our existence except this one. And I say this as a UAB supporter. So do you really honestly believe that we will drop football? Think about that. Drop football. Even UAB didnt drop football as much as they were Pearl Harbored by Tuscaloosa. So that leaves Pacific in 1995 as the last time someone dropped football. I cant think of any southern FBS school that has dropped in the modern era. How exactly would that occur? I imagine it would have to be initiated by the President or GSU Foundation Board. Sounds like the opposite of what is occuring on campus. Because the President and Mayor are basically colluding as we speak to get us an OCS. We fired an ineffectual AD and hired one who has lived in Atlanta before and who is a football AD. So please do explain why you think in an environment where we have people in the background working on financing for redeveloping Turner Field, how football gets dropped. And its really funny that you call me Baghdad Bob considering how openly critical I have been of this program. We have plenty of fans on PnatherTalk, com who follow this program but thanks for the concern for our "five" fans. LOL. The bolded part made me snort coffee. What unending deficits are you referring to? We sold more tickets for football games last year than we sell for MBB in 7 or 8 years.

1) GSU wiil drop football - when, not if...

2) Congrats on beating the basketball sales. That 1,600 basketball attendance average is a pretty hefty benchmark ...if you're a high school.

3) What leader looks at the current outside interest in GSU athletics and thinks it's worth investing billions on??? I can't wait to see the taxpayers reaction to that!

4) Non revenue programs get dropped every year across America. I imagine it will happen just like that.

The last FBS program to drop was Pacific in 1995.

Billions? LOL.

LOL

LOL

A better argument for you might be "I hate GSU"

Indeed. Like I said, I think you will get some recruits to attend this camp that might otherwise not have considered ODU
