When I called they did look to see if I was a Alum Member before they asked for my groups info.

I did.

I was a member of the Association but my paid membership has expired. I still was able to register for the free event online.

So there is no lame excuse on why not to attend this right! Though a good excuse is ok.

I just went went online to register for this event and they have a message that they have reached "maximum capacity". So it looks like me and my family will not be attending a basketball game this year. Ugh. Probably my fault for getting on it 6 days later. Oh well.

Why would I go to pay when everyone else is going for free? It's not like I don't support them already.

Everyone else is not getting in for free. Season ticket holders have paid. Those who buy individual tickets pay. Not everyone is a member of the Alumni Association. There will only be a limited number who will get in for free. I assume they will be sitting in the GA sections behind the baskets. Tickets to the men's games are only $10 and women's games are $8 - for a reserved seat.

Plus with the people that got in FREE it might be a decent crowd/environment.

Dang - disappointed it is sold out. However, I am still hoping to take my kids and make a fun day on campus, see two games and maybe get some gyros at T&J

The idea of this thing reaching capacity didn't even cross my mind. I figured they would have a huge area of the convo roped off and would get as many people as possible. Bummed I didn't bother to register. Maybe I'll still head out for the game.

I would've thought more like 200. Think about how much food and space they will need just for a few hundred people.

I wonder how many people will show up for the dinner and not go to the games? The women's game is first.
