It is NOT the fault of liberals or Socialists that this type of thing happens. It is the fault of Islam being a religion that has stayed true to its form of "dark ages" beliefs, with many millions adhering to this quite frankly unacceptable way of life. It's hard to justify dictating the way things "should be" to any specific group of people, but when it comes down to it the answer is simple. Europe just has to stop letting these people do whatever they wish. They need extreme anti-extremism laws to stamp out this type of thing.

it's pretty obvious that that group focuses most of their beliefs on christianity. Their original name had the word christian in it and they paint crosses on the chests of their child soldiers to protect them in battle.

So, why did Christianity change? The bible can and was interpreted in ways that justified murder and torture in the past, just like the Koran. Some of the offenses were simply theories or actions against religious dogma, not making fun of it. But now it appears to be mostly the Koran that is used to justify murder like this. Why has Islam not changed? Is it easier to interpret the Koran in ways that justify or even require violence? I have not read the Koran, so I don't know.

Don't act like Christianity and Islam do not share the same type of 'commands' by their Gods. The difference is not that Christianity as a religion is 'better' per se than Islam, it is that Christians have moved out of the Dark Ages and learned what is right and wrong and interpreted their Holy Book as such but the Muslims have generally not.
While you make a good point, its not entirely true. The dark ages was a historical period purely isolated to western europe. Around the time Europe was in its dark age, Islam/Middle east was experiencing its 'Golden Age' where they experienced great economic prosperity which gave them the luxuries to make advancements in various field such as medicine, math, architecture, philosophy, literature, etc.
The point is all this crap is cyclical, societies rise up and become great and prosperous then collapse due to war, famine, disease, etc.

Poverty. Lack of education.
Easy to convince someone with nothing to kill themselves when they'll be rewarded with riches and virgins in the next life.
Not making excuses for it though. Islam is a scourge on humanity. I can't even have much respect for Muslims that would never do something like this because they are quick to make excuses rather than condemning the act. Leaders from far away will make veiled condemnations but the average person, especially in the middle east, won't.
