Who started this with that term? Years ago on this message board.

I find it interesting.......there are more "Football Types" here than basketball types. Perhaps Jeb was referring to the attendance at hand and not specifically to this message board. I have no dog in the hunt. Just find it funny that mt.org is supposedly so full of "hoops only" posters when it's actually the opposite.

Pretty soon those basketball only fans will be football only fans. Stop jumping on bandwagons and just support the school.

That term came up about the time we moved into the pyramid when the tiger clubs thing started. People got moved upstairs after years of having good seats and weren't happy. So they turned to jealousy.

I always wondered why they moved longtime Coliseum ticket holders upstairs also. Seemed to be unnecessary since the lower deck of The Pyramid had more seats, with a thousand to spare, than the entire Mid South Coliseum.

Lee Fowler was the one that started it. A good friend of mine that had 3rd row seats behind the visitors bench got moved to the endzone to make room for the students.

He didn't have to get moved.
