I'm the traditionalist that likes mostly regional 9-team conferences and round robin play and scoffs at the idea that every league should have a conference championship game. It was revolutionary when Roy Kramer came up with it for the SEC. It was almost as good for the Big 12 but almost nothing short of an Access Bowl contender or Heisman contender will make me watch a Sun Belt or MAC championship game.
