Georgia expected a national championship and to beat Florida.

Georgia Tech expected to probably not finish bowl eligible, and to lose handily to Florida State.

Georgia underachieved; Georgia Tech overachieved. Gailey did a helluva job with what little he had to work with this season after the huge hit pre-season. We were picked by the ACC media to finish 8th... and some voters picked even lower.

Bradley's little stab at Tech... which he does love to do so often being the sarcastic, smartass, and unwitty writer he is... holds up to his usual standards (i.e. - meager punchline, absolutely no thought or integrity behind it).

I think he was just trying to show how far apart the programs are right now.

Well, ol' Mark Bradley did spew this bunch of garbage in October...

Quote:Think about a band of Bulldogs that got really good last fall and is stronger now. Think about the Sugar Bowl, site of this season's mythical championship game. These Bulldogs could well get there.

Nobody is apt to pick off Georgia. The Bulldogs are too good, too deep, too relentless. They aren't daunted by their surroundings. They weren't fazed by the honorable loss at LSU. They just keep playing. Long a good program, Georgia is again a great one.

If you can come to the massive stadium by the river and leave a 27-point winner, you can stand in against anybody. Yes, even Miami. Yes, even Oklahoma.

You get your insight on what Bulldog fans are thinking by reading Mark Bradley?

He's clueless too.
