Treloff whas up wit him?
Tree is playing like he has Dutch Elm disease.

I thought this year he would be leading the charge in stacking up wins like Paul Bunyan does cord wood.

No?

Glorious puns.

...But he's playing like he's always played. He's not very good. He's not terrible, but not great. He can score okay, but he turns it over. That's him. I think you can argue NIU doesn't do the greatest job of exploiting his height (getting him the ball in the post).

The young man is still shooting 50%. I still believe our guards are freezing him out because they want to shoot the ball.

No! They are not good at getting it to him but it's not intentional. Also, Huskies don't shoot well so teams double him. He also is struggling when he gets the ball. He should shoot over 50% his shots come from 2 feet.

That close to the basket he should be shooting 65 percent.
Another player who was overhyped.

Were you ever overhyped or hyped at all?

I think NIU has more than enough guards MM can play that would throw the ball it to Jordan IF that is what MM requires. Or am I missing something?

He's an average player who is playing average. People expected way too much of this team.

RE: Treloff whas up wit him?
Yes, Monty wants to get the ball to Threloff. Guys don't always get it down low when he is open. Threloff also needs to get better position. As I see things, Bowie would have made a huge difference in the Kent and EMU games. Kent is 3-1, but I felt NIU was as good as them. You play who you have but it's foolish to pretend that a team can overcome all injuries. Example-Illinois and Michigan. Rice for Illinois and Levert for Michigan are going to have a huge impact on those teams win totals.

Our perimeter offense sucks....teams focus on smothering us inside and dare us to shoot from outside....not his fault
